THE BAND

Formed in '94 after Cassie's death by Jack Minor and Matt Nathaniels. The band consisted of Skringe on vocals, Jack on guitar, Matt on bass, and P.Russ on Drums.
Though formed primarily as a hard-core, agro band, things quickly shifted to the left and the band became a hard-core, goth metal band.
After dubbing themselves 'Rat Shit", the band played a number of legendary rock shows that were clouded in controversy. Stage equipment failed and at times equipment tumbled onto the stage endangering the band members themselves. The band, being drunk and drugged, played on unknowingly until afterwards.. this caused for many exciting stage shows.
After 2 studio releases and numerous 7 inchers, Rat Shit broke up, officially citing creative differences.
Unofficially, rumors cited that the breakup was due largely to Skringe's increasing dependence on prescription drugs and to Jack's nervous breakdown. Both rumors were unsubstantiated.
